Are you a trained doula in the Cape Fear area ready to make a meaningful impact in our community? Looking for a collaborative network of birthworkers who support one another rather than compete? Join us!
Cape Fear Area Doulas membership is open to any professionally trained doula who supports the purpose of our organization:
To provide access to information, resources, and referrals for those seeking professional perinatal and postpartum support
Provide physical support for birthing individuals who are experiencing financial difficulties
Offer professional support for active members
Two membership levels are available.
Active Membership - $75 annual dues
With the benefits of this membership, doulas will:
• Receive organization communications and are eligible to vote on organizational matters
• Receive individual promotion through the organizations's social media platforms
• Will be listed on the Cape Fear Area Doulas website with listings further stratified based on tenure
• Be able to foster connection and network with other members through private communication
Expectations include:
• Remain in good standing with dues/renewal paid in a timely manner
• Attending a majority of organizational meetings
• Participate in volunteering for the organization
Supporter Membership - $25 annual dues
With the benefits of this membership, doulas will:
• Receive organization communications
• Be able to foster connection and network with other members through private communication
Expectations include:
• Remain in good standing with dues/renewal paid in a timely manner
Membership is due each January and is valid for 1 year. Dues for new members who join after January 1st will be prorated accordingly. Members who are not in good standing regarding volunteering, meeting attendance, and involvement may be in jeopardy of losing their membership for the following term.
