The monthly pregnancy support and birth circle is a safe space for those who are pregnant, thinking about becoming pregnant, or are postpartum to gather and share about pregnancy or birth experiences and support one another.
*Note that sharing one’s birth story is completely optional. It is not at all required for those who want to attend.*
Babes in arms are welcome to join their parent. However, we respectfully request that any older children remain in someone else’s care elsewhere while you attend the birth circle. Childcare is not provided.

Childbirth Ed Mini Class – pick a date: January 26, April 27, July 27, or October 26, 2025

Join us for a one-day, 4-hour mini childbirth education class! This is a wonderful opportunity for first-time pregnant folks and growing families to dive into a sea of supportive evidence-based topics to help you prepare for your birth and postpartum season. Learn about how to advocate for yourself, what you may experience during labor and birth, birthing options, coping mechanisms, postpartum planning, and so much more!

All ticket prices are offered on a sliding scale to ensure that everyone can participate in our childbirth ed classes, regardless of their financial situation. Please choose the price that best aligns with your ability to pay. Those who are pregnant, people thinking about becoming pregnant, partners of pregnant people, intended parents, adoptive parents, and foster parents are all welcome to attend. Each participant needs their own ticket/registration for the class.

  • Supporter Ticket ($60): This price helps support others who may need a lower rate and allows us to continue offering this event in an accessible way.
  • Standard Ticket ($30): This is the regular ticket price and covers the cost of the event.
  • Community Ticket ($15): If you are experiencing financial hardship, we encourage you to select this option. This rate helps make the event more accessible to all.

There are no questions asked when selecting a price. Choose what feels most comfortable for you. Your participation is what matters most.

All registration fees and 100% of the proceeds from these classes will go directly to the Doula Support Scholarship fund with Cape Fear Area Doulas, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and educational opportunities for birthing and postpartum individuals in our community. All members/doulas/presenters are volunteers and donate their time for the benefit of our community. Your participation helps further our mission and supports our programs.
